The fastest way to manufacture a good track record is to quietly stop publishing the bad ones. The Graveyard is the control that makes that impossible here, and it is the reason the aggregate numbers on this site can be trusted at all.

The rules
- A portfolio can never be deleted. It can only be retired, and retirement is a state transition recorded as an event in the same hash chain as every trade.
- A retired portfolio keeps its full history: the same required items as a live one, frozen.
- Every retired portfolio carries an AI-generated post-mortem produced from its own audit log, classifying the failure as strategy, execution, data or model — and a human note where the operator disagrees with it.
- Every site-wide aggregate includes retired portfolios.
Entry criteria, per portfolio
Taken from each mandate's drawdown ladder. These are the levels at which a portfolio is suspended or sent here, fixed in advance.

A portfolio whose data source dies is also eligible — the Political Trades Tracker would be, if its buy signal were legislated away and the pre-drafted v2 pivot were declined.
What a retired portfolio's page will contain
- The full history — the same required items as a live portfolio, frozen.
- Final statistics: total return, maximum drawdown, number of trades, total fees paid, and a benchmark comparison over the identical period.
- An AI-generated post-mortem produced from the portfolio's own audit log, classifying the failure as strategy (the idea was wrong), execution (costs ate it), data (the inputs were bad) or model (the AI reasoned badly from good inputs) — with links to the fact packs of the specific decisions that did the most damage.
- A human-written note where the operator disagrees with the AI's post-mortem, where they do.
- A permanent banner: this portfolio is retired, it is preserved unedited, and its results are included in every aggregate statistic on this site.
Every site-wide aggregate on this site includes retired portfolios. A portfolio can be retired but never removed, and removing a loser from an average is the single most common way a track record is made to lie.
